2026 Division 3

The Junior League of San Antonio, TX recognized a gap in how their League welcomed a very specific and often overlooked group of women – Transfers.

The JLSA Transfers Program is a thoughtful, structured, and deeply human initiative designed to welcome Members relocating from other Leagues, many of whom are navigating the challenges of military life or major career transitions. Rather than a simple orientation, JLSA created a full integration experience, complete with curated welcome boxes and handwritten notes, a dedicated communication channel, regular social and service meetups, and a member spotlight campaign that celebrates transfer members as the experienced leaders they already are. The results? Strong attendance and increased participation in broader League programming.
