2026 Division 1

After years of relying solely on their beloved Mother Daughter Dance, a sellout event of 400 guests that raises approximately $15,000 annually, the Junior League of Binghamton, NY dramatically expanded their fundraising efforts in pursuit of their Mobile Kitchen initiative. In 2025, they hosted a Designer Show House contributing $12,000 to the project and secured two grants totaling $45,000. JLB’s willingness to diversify their fund development opportunities, moving beyond a single signature event to pursue grants, government funding, and experiential fundraisers, is a model for how Leagues can grow their impact when they are willing to think boldly and cast a wider net.
