Through hands-on volunteerism, food drives, and meaningful partnerships, The Junior League of York built a collaborative, community-wide effort to make sure families had access to the nutrition they need to thrive. JLY understands that the issue of food insecurity isn’t just about hunger. It affects a child’s ability to learn, a family’s ability to stay healthy, and a community’s ability to move forward. This year their efforts directly impacted nearly 4,000 individuals.
