The Junior League turns 100

Deborah Brittain, AJLI’s first African-American President, presided over The Junior League’s centennial celebration. Maya Angelou, Nane Annan, and Gloria Steinem, among others, addressed the members at the Annual Conference in New York City, site of the first Junior League.
