The Junior League of Las Vegas, NV reimagined what it means to truly invest in their members and then built a program that proves it. Through more than 13 training sessions and 590 hours of leadership programming, JLLV created a curriculum spanning advocacy, civic engagement, communication, resilience, community safety, and inclusive leadership. They utilized AJLI’s LEAD 1901 and continued their own leadership experience – the EmpowHER Leadership Conference – a full-day immersive event drawing 60 Members together for workshops, leadership panels, mentorship, and hands-on service. Through their leadership development curriculum, Sustainers serve as mentors and facilitators, bringing institutional wisdom, Community leaders and nonprofit executives bring real-world training, and Members themselves lead the planning and execution, turning every training into a leadership opportunity in its own right.
