2025: Comprehensive Leadership Development Initiative

The Junior League of Austin launched a comprehensive leadership development initiative designed to equip their members with the skills, confidence and resources they need to thrive as leaders within their respective communities, professionally and personally. This initiative includes year-round training and education events comprising a calendar of workshops, seminars, and webinars that address critical topics such as nonprofit governance, fundraising strategies, and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging principles.  JLA's leadership development initiative aligns seamlessly with the Junior League Mission. By providing robust leadership training opportunities, the initiative fosters collaboration by partnering with community stakeholders to bring valuable external expertise and reinforces our commitment to building strategic partnerships throughout the Austin community. The Leadership Development Initiative also promotes volunteer action through year-round education, preparing members to lead impactful service initiatives and advocate for change.  Finally, the initiative builds capacity and helps with succession planning by offering leadership development training to all members at every level of membership.  Congratulations to the Junior League of Austin!
