2008: Patricia May Thomsson

The Junior League of Greater Princeton, NJ

Rising Star Patricia May Thomsson’s leadership abilities were evident from the beginning of her League membership when she became co-chair of the Provisional Class Project. She is motivated to make a difference in her community, and with a mere two years of League experience, she has emerged as the go-to person for advice, ideas, and action.

Thomsson’s interest in helping disadvantaged youth led her to develop a passion for childhood literacy and education. She helped her League develop a meaningful partnership with Trenton Head Start, which blossomed into a much larger, long-term League project of implementing an early literacy program focused on improving the math and science skills of preschool children.
