Planned Giving

Establish a gift in your will or living trust

For over a century, The Junior League has made a meaningful difference in the lives of our members, our local community, and the world. Your gift will continue that incredible tradition, empowering women to lead in their communities and create lasting change.

Are you looking for a simple way to support AJLI and establish your legacy? We hope you will consider AJLI in your estate plans. This requires no immediate out-of-pocket cost and may allow you to provide more substantial support.

You can make a will or living trust gift of:

• Cash

• Appreciated Securities

• Real Estate

• Tangible Personal Property

• Closely Held Stock

Below, we have provided some basic bequest language to assist you and your attorney.

Bequest of a Specific Dollar Amount:

“I hereby give, devise, and bequeath [sum of/percentage of/residue of my estate] to the Association of Junior Leagues, Inc., a nonprofit organization, Federal Tax ID: 13-1656639, for the Association’s general use and purposes.”

To make your gift, contact the person, custodian, or trustee who helps you with your retirement account or insurance policy. They will send you a beneficiary designation form. Your account or insurance policy will be paid or transferred to your selected beneficiaries upon your passing.

Documenting you Gift

If you have named AJLI in your will or trust, please let us know so we can ensure your gift is used according to your wishes. Please send a copy of the will or living will ( or portions that pertain to the Junior League) along with the dated signature page. Notifying us of your plans will enable us to plan for the use of your future gift. However, we will keep your name and gift strictly confidential if you prefer to remain anonymous.

Please contact AJLI at Development@AJLI.org  for more information.
