Junior League of Las Vegas, NV embraced International Find the Good Day with a week-long series of impactful service projects and community events across the Las Vegas Valley. They worked with a local school district to expand a farmpreneur program to boost STEM in the classroom, provided hygiene kits to another school and gifted $15,000 for Shannon West Homeless Youth Center's annual food budget, the impact of which helps ensure three daily meals for 155 youth each year.
Junior League of Las Vegas provided hands-on volunteerism packing school gift baskets, preparing meals and repairing gently used books for underserved schools.
It wouldn't be Las Vegas without a celebration. For the second year in a row, The Junior League of Las Vegas lit The High Roller Illumination and the Eiffel Tower. They also hosted Junior League night out with the Last Vegas Aviators baseball team where Junior League of Las Vegas President Kristina Villardi threw out the first pitch and members worked a booth to share information with game attendees.
Lastly, they procured a mayoral proclamation for Find the Good Day 2025.

Our first winner is The Junior League of Alexandria, LA. They celebrated Find The Good Day by providing 24 hours of community service. In total, they served 133 hours over a 24-hour period. By doing so, they solidified community partnerships, empowered students and teachers to share kindness and helped business and organizations complete projects.
This is the true power of “many hands make light work”. They were granted proclamations from the City of Alexandria and the City of Pineville and from the state of Louisiana.

The Junior League of Las Vegas, NV held a lot of activities in creative ways to celebrate Find the Good Day, including one of their members writing a song to commemorate the day.
The Junior League of Las Vegas also gave away $60,000 in grants to 18 different nonprofits in their community while also serving shift at three different nonprofits throughout the day. To celebrate their hard work, the League lit the High Roller Ferris Wheel in bright yellow and encouraged members to come ride and take photos.
