Meet Jennifer Porter

Jennifer Porter is a seasoned leader with a strong background in nonprofit management and patient advocacy. Her leadership journey began in The Junior League of Tulsa, where she has held several positions, including President and VP of Communications. During her tenure, she spearheaded initiatives such as the revitalization of the league’s quarterly magazine, Gusher, and played a pivotal role in fundraising efforts, including achieving the endowment’s fundraising goal of over $1 million. Currently, she is serving as President of the Presidents of Large Leagues (POLL) networking group.

Jennifer’s impact extends beyond the nonprofit sector into corporate partnerships. In her current role at the Susan G. Komen Foundation, she oversees major industry partnerships, contributing to a pipeline of $2.4 million in funding. Notably, she has successfully onboarded three new industry partners within her first year. She has also served on various boards and committees, including roles at the First Presbyterian Church of Tulsa Foundation, Mississippi College Alumni Board, and The Junior League of Tulsa’s Building Assessment Task Force.

Her accomplishments aren’t limited to corporate settings. As the Executive Director of Oklahoma at the Arthritis Foundation, she transformed a struggling market into the top-performing medium market nationwide. Through her efforts, she increased revenue by 1200% and raised significant funds to bring a pediatric rheumatologist to Oklahoma.

Jennifer holds a Master’s in Human Relations and a Master of Arts in Journalism & Mass Communications from the University of Oklahoma, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Communication from Mississippi College. Outside of her professional endeavors, Jennifer finds joy in her family life with her husband, Matthew, and their two-year-old daughter, Rosie, and their beloved chow chow, Aslan.
