Meet Aprille Moore

Major Aprille Moore is an Active member of the Junior League of DeKalb County, GA and a career law enforcement leader with extensive experience in organizational oversight. Within the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, she oversees Training, Background, and Recruitment, shaping policies and standards that affect long-term institutional integrity. 

Her participation in the FBI National Academy and the IACP Global Policing Institute reflects her credibility within her profession and her commitment to continuous improvement. Aprille is accustomed to making decisions that carry significant responsibility and understands the importance of transparency and accountability in leadership roles. In addition to her League service, Aprille has contributed to community boards including the prestigious Atlanta Track Club and Families First. 

Aprille believes the Junior League’s future depends on leaders who are willing to uphold high standards while fostering open dialogue and collaboration. Her steadfast dedication to serving both Junior League Members and the community with integrity reflects her commitment to responsible governance and principled leadership, something that will guide her decisions over the next few years on the Governance Committee.
