2021: Rewriting Our Narrative 

The 2021 AJLI Award for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion goes to The Junior League of Fort Smith.

Congratulations to the Junior League of Fort Smith, Arkansas for their Rewriting Our Narrative initiative! Since 2018 when their DEI Committee was created, the JLFS has revamped policies & procedures to incorporate DEI within their culture, diversified their new member base by 20%, created a safe space for members to speak on their firsthand experiences with racism and discrimination, and issued a powerful commitment statement to publicly denounce racism.
