Jessica Murphy is an Active member of the Junior League of Toronto, Ontario and a nonprofit executive with extensive experience leading mission-driven organizations. As a previous Member of the New York Junior League, Jessica brings cross-League perspective and a strong understanding of how local Leagues contribute to the identity of the Association. 

As Executive Director of LiftED Literacy and Leadership, Jessica leads strategic planning, fundraising, and program oversight for an organization dedicated to educational equity. Her work requires balancing ambition with fiscal responsibility and aligning stakeholders around clear goals. She is accustomed to making decisions that carry both immediate and long-term implications. 

Within the League, Jessica has consistently demonstrated reliability, initiative, and a collaborative spirit. Her board service outside the League has strengthened her experience in governance, financial stewardship, and policy oversight. She approaches leadership with a thoughtful, forward-looking perspective grounded in practical realities. 

Jessica believes the League’s continued strength depends on leaders who honor its legacy while thoughtfully embracing growth and change. She will provide the Board strategic clarity, inclusive leadership, and a deep commitment to serving members and community alike.
