Through her committee work, she developed her ability to ask careful questions, listen to diverse viewpoints, and help build consensus around complex decisions.
Professionally, Kit serves as Director of the Language Connects Foundation, where she guides strategy and organizational growth for the nonprofit. Her background in education and mental health advocacy, including recognition with a Leadership Award from the American Psychiatric Association, reflects her commitment to mission-driven work grounded in accountability.
Kit approaches leadership as stewardship. She believes strong organizations endure when leaders balance innovation with respect for legacy, and when decisions are made with both courage and care. She plans to provide the Board a measured, collaborative voice and a clear commitment to strengthening the League for future generations.
